Drawing from Spectra’s achievements in introducing the world’s first polymer substrate with an embedded covert security feature, and the industry’s first polymer banknote substrate supplier to offer substrate certified as part of a plastic waste recycling supply chain,  Nabil’s presentation gave the attendees a clear understanding of the enabling science behind both topics with an eye towards exciting developing science that promises to further reduce reliance on fossil fuels for the production of polymer banknotes.
