OPTICAL MATERIALS
Our materials development is a daily, high energy activity at Spectra and includes modification of current products to meet specific customer needs, to the design and development of new materials and manufacturing processes to meet our customers’ specifications and supply requirements.
OPTICAL SYSTEMS ENGINEERING GROUP
Working in parallel with our material and chemical scientists and engineers, our optoelectrical, mechanical, and software teams design, develop and manufacture authentication systems, as well as online and offline quality control systems used by our customers to ensure correct addition of our materials to their products.
Our vision systems are also used for the purpose of detecting defects in products during the manufacturing process to minimize costs due to nonconforming product and reduced productivity.
A RECENT SUCCESS
Spectra Systems’ coating formulation will allow coffee suppliers producing their K-cup lids at LMI Packaging Solutions to have complete functionality in the Keurig K-cup system.
